PakPath exists to fix that. It is a free, independent guide to degrees, entry tests, merit formulas, and careers in Pakistan — written so a student can see the whole route before committing years to it.
Why we built it
In Pakistan, the decision that shapes a career is usually made at sixteen, in the few weeks between Matric results and college admissions. The information needed to make it well is scattered across university PDFs, admission notices, coaching-centre rumours, and whatever a relative happens to believe about a particular profession.
Students who have a doctor or an engineer in the family get real answers. Everyone else guesses. That gap is not a difference in ability — it is a difference in access to information, and it is entirely fixable.
So PakPath collects it in one place: what each degree leads to, which entry test stands in the way, how the merit aggregate is actually calculated, and what the work pays once you get there. No login, no fee, and no requirement to hand over personal details.

Generic career advice written for other countries does not help when you are deciding between FSc Pre-Medical and ICS. Every roadmap, merit formula, and test guide here is built around Pakistan’s own admission system.
Honest about trade-offs
We name the hard parts: how competitive a seat is, what a degree really costs, and what the starting salary tends to look like. A student choosing a field deserves the full picture, not encouragement.

No sign-up, no fee, no personal details required. Advertising covers the running costs so that a student with a borrowed phone and patchy data can still use everything on the site.
Where our limits are
PakPath is an independent education guide. We are not affiliated with any university, board, testing service, or government body, and we cannot influence an admission decision. Nobody pays us to recommend a degree or an institution.
Admission policies, merit formulas, and test patterns change every cycle. We keep the site current, but the official prospectus always wins. Before you act on anything here — a deadline, a weighting, an eligibility rule — confirm it on the university’s own website.
