After I.Com

Career options after I.Com

I.Com is a narrower stream than FSc, but it is well aimed. It maps cleanly onto business, finance, and accountancy, and it is the natural feeder into the professional accounting qualifications.

What most students get wrong here

The professional qualifications — ACCA, CA, ICMA — are a genuine alternative to a four-year degree, not a consolation prize, and they can be started earlier. They are also unforgiving: pass rates are low and the timeline stretches if you stall. Choose that route because it suits how you work, not because it looks like a shortcut.

Entry tests that apply

  • University merit and aptitude tests
  • No single national entry test for business degrees
