From ICS or Pre-Engineering to high-growth tech careers
Follow the flow top to bottom. Where the path forks, each option listed is a genuinely accepted route at that stage.
Mathematics is the real prerequisite — a CS degree is closed to students who drop Math at Matric.
ICS and FSc Pre-Engineering both feed BS CS. FSc Pre-Medical students usually need a deficiency Math course.
There is no single national test. Each university runs its own — you can sit several in the same admission cycle.
All of these are 4-year HEC-recognised BS programs with a largely shared first two years.
No council registration is required — portfolio and skills decide hiring, including remote and freelance work.
Career endpoints reachable from the degrees above.
Technology is one of the broadest and fastest-changing fields. Students who enjoy problem-solving, coding, and systems thinking usually thrive here. A strong portfolio and project work often matter as much as the degree itself.
Compare the programs in this pathway by what you study, how you qualify, and where each route can take you.
